As 2025 comes to a close and the Thanksgiving season drifts into memory, we welcome the joy, beauty, and deep meaning of Christmas. At Peabody Engineering, we cherish the traditions that make this season special — decorating the tree, enjoying time with family, and reflecting on the blessings of the year.

Whether you prefer a fresh-cut tree or the convenience of an artificial one, Christmas décor brings a unique sense of wonder into our homes. We all treasure the traditions that remind us of the warmth of family and the joy of giving. Over the years, many of us have learned that the greatest gifts aren’t always wrapped — sometimes, the most meaningful gift we can give or receive is simply our presence.

But amid the lights, the gifts, and the celebrations, Christmas is ultimately about something far greater:
The birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ — the true Gift of Christmas.

Long before that night in Bethlehem, Scripture foretold His coming. Prophecies from Genesis, Isaiah, Hosea, and others pointed to a Messiah who would redeem humanity. The New Testamentbeautifully recounts the fulfillment of these promises — from the angel’s message to Mary, to Jesus’ birth in Bethlehem, to the shepherds hearing the heavenly announcement: “Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.”

This tiny child in a manger would become the spotless Lamb of God — the One who would conquer sin, death, and darkness, not with force, but with love, compassion, and sacrifice. His birth marks the beginning of the greatest story ever told: God’s plan for redemption, forgiveness, and eternal life for all who believe.

As we enter the 2025 Thanksgiving season, it’s a wonderful time to pause and reflect on how blessed we truly are. In the midst of a busy year and the challenges that come with it, we are reminded of the peace that comes from gratitude — and the joy that flows from faith.

Thanksgiving has long been a cherished tradition in America, dating back to the Pilgrims who gave thanks to God for His provision and guidance. More than 400 years later, that same spirit of gratitude continues to unite us — families, friends, communities, and companies alike — as we gather to celebrate God’s goodness and faithfulness.

At Peabody Engineering, we are deeply thankful for the people who make what we do possible: our dedicated employees, our valued customers, and our trusted partners. Your hard work, loyalty, and support remind us that our greatest blessings are not found in things, but in people.

The Apostle Paul reminds us in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 to “give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” Gratitude isn’t just for the easy moments — it’s a reflection of faith that carries us through every season.

When we were younger, we dreamed about the future with wide-eyed wonder. We imagined a world of flying cars, robotic helpers, and instant communication. While some of these dreams have become reality—smartwatches, advanced robotics, and powerful computers in our pockets—the world we live in today is far more extraordinary than we could have envisioned.

We’ve unlocked the mysteries of both inner space and outer space, and science continues to make remarkable strides. Thanksgiving 2024 – We Hope You Enjoy This Years Thanksgiving Letter.

Don’t ask me how we got here so fast, but welcome to the Holiday Season 2024. The Holidays are a great time to pause and reflect on our blessings, what we’ve accomplished in the year and to look ahead at the year to come. The most important thing, however, is to count our blessings, spend time away from work with family and friends, and re-calibrate ourselves to make sure we stay grounded and keep things in perspective.

2024 has been a contentious year for everyone, and sadly, our nation and the world has become more polarized than any time in my life. When I was a younger man, people would not always see eye to eye and have different ideas about everything from religion to politics to what flavor of ice cream is the best, but there was a modicum of mutual respect and tolerance of other’s opinions. Our current culture is rife with intolerance and people are vilified for having anything but the “accepted” position on social issues and what’s best for society.

Christmas 2023 – We Hope You Enjoy This Year’s Christmas Letter.

Our office will be closed on Monday, Dec 25th, 2023, and Monday, Jan 1, 2024.

Christmas is perhaps the most revered tradition in the fabric of our great Nation. In a world that feels so very divided, Christmas is a season that still unites us, when for a short time, we put all else aside and just enjoy the moment, with Chocolate, Egg Nog, family gatherings, gifts, and now even an Elf on the Shelf. For ALL of that, we should be grateful.

So take off your shoes, put on your jammies, have a hot toddy, and soak it all in.

May this festive season bring joy, peace, and prosperity to you and your loved ones. We look forward to the opportunities the coming year holds and are excited to continue working with you.

Christmas 2022 – We Hope You Enjoy This Year’s Christmas Letter.

Our office will be closed on Monday, Dec 26th, 2022, and
Monday, Jan 2, 2023.

Where has the time gone this year? I am having a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that 2022 is almost a memory and dreading the first 2 months of 2023, when I will repeatedly write the date on my checks with 2022 and then having to make the 2 into a 3 until my brain re-wires to write the correct date.

The end of the year can be a depressing time for many people. It gets dark early, it’s cold and dreary, perhaps the plans we had for the year didn’t quite work out as we had hoped, and everyone is more stressed than normal. This year has been especially tough, with inflation, shortages of everything from baby formula to Thanksgiving turkeys, new scandals in the news every day, wars and rumors of war, earthquakes, and volcanic eruptions. You get the idea. It’s been rough!

I think it’s a little bit like that every year. People need hope at this time of year more than any other, which is why I think God gave us eternal hope with the virgin birth of His Son in a manger, in a stable, to parents who had very little and could not find proper accommodations in an inn. Mary was in labor and had no choice but to deliver the baby Jesus, the last best hope for mankind, surrounded by farm animals in a feed bin.

The cool part about that is that it happened exactly according to prophesy from hundreds of years before. Jesus’ birth fulfilled at least 11 prophesies to the most minute detail.
